INTCOM AND PARTNERS PROMOTE PIONEERING TECHNOLOGY EVENT DURING RIO OIL & GAS 2022
Startups promote pioneering innovation event called 'Oil & Gas Technology Meeting' for Operational Planning and Safety during Rio Oil & Gas 2022
During Rio Oil & Gas, on 28/09/22, the startups Intcom, IDK, Rio Analytics and The Insight came together in the Bolder Auditorium (Startup Factory), in the Aqwa Building to hold the first event called the 'Oil & Gas Technology Meeting' with a focus on Technological Innovation for the Oil and Gas Industry focused on Operational Safety, IOT and Productivity.
According to Antonio Batista, Cino Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) at The Insight, the event brought together startups that are making a difference in the Oil & Gas sector and bringing technologies to make the sector safer and more productive, simplifying alignment with industry requirements.
Batista also stresses his satisfaction with the partnership, in which they managed to mobilize a community that thinks about innovation, with the opportunity to present their solution" and engage with potential customers
The innovations presented were:
- High Performance in the Management of Embedded Employees, presented by Thiago Tatagiba - Product Manager at Intcom.
- Applied AI in the Oil & Gas industry, presented by Francisco Lisboa - CEO & Co-founder at The Insight
- Wearables in accident prevention, presented by Pedro Santos - Lead Developer at IDK
- Integrity Management Tool for Drill Pipe, presented by Vinicius Oliveira - Head of Sales and Daniel Martins - Project Manager, at Rio analytics.
"The event crowns a great recognition of collaboration between technology-based companies in Rio de Janeiro, where pitches were presented with complementary themes that address the pains and challenges faced by the sector," says Victor Chaves - CEO & Founder at Rio analytics.
Major players in the Oil & Gas industry attended the event, including Petrobras, Shell, Equinor, Edson Chouest, Accenture, as well as technology companies and specialized media.
"The event brought together technologies that have synergies with each other with the main purpose of guaranteeing the Security of Operations and Optimizing costs and productivity in People Management," says Alvaro Antunes, from Intcom.
